Already Telugu heroes like Nani, Sandeep Kishan and Sharwa entered production ventures as they came up with some interesting films, but haven't tasted commercial success. There comes another hero in the form of Vijay Devarakonda, who is testing his luck as a producer.

With Vijay's maiden venture Meeku Maatrame Chepta set for a November 1st release, one wonders why the hero failed to bring great buzz for the movie like how it happened in the case of his own films like Pelli Choopulu and Arjun Reddy. Though the trailer of MMC featuring Tarun Bhaskar as a hero is interesting, it is not so captivating and arresting like how Vijay's films look.

Also with such low buzz around the movie, many are wondering why Vijay is not taking any aggressive route to promote the film. Some say that he is confident that the film will score a big hit basing on word of mouth after the release.

Maybe the film would have got huge attention had Vijay Devarakonda starred in a guest role in the movie, isn't it?
