The much awaited trailer of 'Panipat' is out. This is a period drama based on the third battle of Panipat and has Arjun Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt and Kriti Sanon in the lead roles.

The trailer starts off on a grandeur note with a battle episode and then it shifts to showcasing the Maratha kingdom and rulers. Arjun Kapoor is seen essaying the role of a Maratha warrior Sadashiv Rao Bhau but somehow we feel that he doesn’t fit in the role.

Kriti Sanon played the role of Bhau's wife, Parvati Bai and is convincing while it is Sanjay Dutt who steals the show as a fearless warrior, Ahmad Shah Abdali.

Arjun aka Bhau and Dutt aka Abdali face off in an epic battle and it is going to be a high octane one.

Ashutosh Gowariker is directing 'Panipat' and this filmmaker is known for his big budget extravagant flicks like 'Lagaan' 'Jodhaa Akbar.'

'Panipat' is releasing on December 6th.
