Anil Kumar Yadav, the Andhra Pradesh minister for Irrigation and Water Resources, is one of the firebrand leaders of YSR Congress Party. The 39 year old Nellore MLA is known for launching a serious verbal attack on opponents whenever the party needs him. In a recent interview with a TV news channel, Anil was asked if he ever got a call from Nara Chandrababu Naidu or Telugu Desham to join their party.

"No. Luckily, I didn't receive any invitation from TDP. I don't know why, but they (TDP) might have thought that I may not pay attention to their invitation. Also, I believe that they'll never invite me in future as well." said Anil. When the minister was asked to share his opinion on Nara Chandrababu Naidu as a politician, he replied 'I think he is someone who'll never shy away from seizing any political opportunity. He is capable of projecting a lie for ten times to make people believe that it's a fact.' According to Anil Kumar, Nara Lokesh is 'not a leader material' like Jagan, who can lead from the front.

Having elected as Nellore City MLA in 2014 and 2019, Anil is one of the loyalists to party and YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
