Another Saturday is here and all the Sankranthi releases want to cash on the first weekend holiday that came straight after the Sankranthi holidays. A look at the kind of booking happening in Hyderabad city is showcasing that Allu Arjun is having a clear edge over the box office.

Apparently ticketing apps are showcasing that Allu Arjun's Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo is already booked by almost 85% by Saturday morning itself. The trends are quite encouraging in multiplexes as massive bookings on the weekend at multiplexes will ring the registers like anything. At the same time, Mahesh Babu's Sarileru Neekevvaru is booked by 55% this morning. This is something that should go up as considering the pre-sales the ticketing should be very high to recover the investments.

And other Sankranthi releases like Darbar and Entha Machivadavura have below-par bookings as they are failing to touch even 30% bookings on the first Saturday (Jan 18) which happens to be a non-holiday for many sections of the audience.

On the other hand, there are no major movies coming up at the box office until the next couple of weeks other than Disco Raja (Jan 24 release) and Nishabdam (Jan 31). So the Sankranthi biggies will be reaping huge profits till then.
