It's been more than a year since Harish Shankar's Duvvada Jagannadham released. Even though the film was panned severely by critics and a section of audiences, DJ went on to become Harish Shankar's highest grosser. The film also stood as Allu Arjun's second highest grosser.

DJ was produced by Dil Raju. Thanks to the film's box-office performance, Dil Raju had assured Harish Shankar that he will produce his next film. Even Harish Shankar penned a multistarrer script with the title 'Daagudu Moothalu'.

However, Daagudu Moothalu never went on floors and there were reports recently that both Harish Shankar and Dil Raju were having serious creative differences. And today, Harish Shankar openly expressed his disappointment on being sidelined by Dil Raju.

Today, in a promotional interview for Lover, Dil Raju announced the release dates for all his 5 upcoming films, and there was no mention of Harish Shankar's film. This seems to have deeply hurt Harish Shankar. He took to Twitter and said that he was "Feeling weird" for his film being missed out. However, he wholeheartedly wished all the five films.
