Mahesh Babu started his career as a child artist in 1979 and acted in 9 movies till 1990. Later, he turned as a hero on July 30th, 1999 with Rajakumarudu movie. It has been 19 years and Mahesh has won the hearts of over millions of people and is one of the star heroes in Tollywood. Renowned director K. Raghavendra Rao launched Mahesh with 'Rajakumarudu' movie. Ashwini Dutt bankrolled that project.

Bollywood beauty Preity Zinta shared the screen space with our Tollywood Prince in that film. The movie became a huge hit and Mahesh never looked back. In these 19 years, Mahesh acted in 24 films and is currently busy with his milestone movie under the direction of Vamsi Paidipally. Mahesh is sporting a new look for this film and the audience are excited about it.
