Natural disasters are something that devastates lives of many and permanently cause a damage to them most of the times. And how will it look good if someone derives a love story in this background?

If reports are to be believed, the story of "Padi Padi Lechenu Manasu" featuring Sharwanand and Sai Pallavi with Hanu Raghavapudi at the helm, is based on a natural calamity. The story is said to be set in the 2015 Nepal Earthquake backdrop, where the hero and heroine get separated. 

For the uninitiated, Nepal earthquake claimed 9000 lives and rendered more than 22000 people with injuries. While the whole world praised how the Indian Army helped Nepal recover in that dark hour, at the same time they criticised Indian media being insensitive and trying to exploit the scene for their TRPs. Back then, hashtags like #GoHomeIndianMedia and #DontComeBackIndianMedia are trending worldwide. 

In case if the rumours we are hearing are true, one wonders how come Hanu Raghavapudi has chosen this subject as the backdrop of a love story. Let's see.
