Laxmmi Bomb's trailer was dropped online after much anticipation and managed to impress the audience with its funny and scary scenes. The transgender character of Akshay Kumar has created quite a buzz. The film directed by Raghava Lawrence went for its censorship certificate today, and the makers had a discussion with CBFC after the screening. The producers of the film-Shabinaa Khan, Tusshar Kapoor, and Akshay Kumar-have now agreed to change the title of their film, taking into account and respecting the feelings of their viewers. Laxmii is now the title of a horror comedy starring Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani.
As stated, the notice was sent on behalf of the Karni Sena by Advocate Raghavendra Mehrotra. Laxmmi Bomb was deemed "derogatory and insulting" to the Hindu community's worship of Goddess Laxmi, according to the note. The note also alleged that the creators used the title Laxmmi Bomb purposefully to reduce the prestige of the Goddess and show contempt for her. It also asserted that the name gives the "ideology, practises, gods and goddesses of Hindu religion" a wrong message to society at large. Laxmii will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar VIP on Nov 9th. Disney+ Hotstar, produced by Cape of Good Films, Tusshar Entertainment House and Shabinaa Entertainment, presents Laxmiii.
