Some combinations are nothing less than blockbusters and Vijay and Atlee are certainly gold in recent times. So far they've paired up three times and all three movies are enormous blockbusters. In his career, Atlee has directed a total of four films and Vijay is among those three. 

Out of this combination came Theri, Mersal, and Bigil and each film is a bigger success than the previous one. These two are busy with their own commitments after collaborating successively for three movies. Vijay has done Master in the direction of Lokesh Kanagaraj and will do a movie with Murugadoss. The latest news, however, is that these two might collaborate. Today, Vijay was spotted at the Atlee office and the buzz is that the two are going to team up again. However for the official confirmation, we have to wait and see.
