First Rank Raju deals with a relatable subject. The protagonist's parents name their son First Rank Raju so that he lives up to his name.

He does live up to his name and becomes a rank machine. But the nerd doesn't know anything beyond his class subjects.

He can't even reciprocate to a girl's feelings and tries to correct her grammar when she confronts him emotionally.

There is also a makeover of him shown in the trailer. Protagonist Chetan doesn't look familiar, but he has the support of ensemble cast that includes Prakash Raj, Brahmanandam, Vennela Kishore, Naresh, Priyadarshi to name a few.

The concept of First Rank Raju could have an instant connect with the students and parents, but does the film has enough entertainment and emotions to be a winner at the box office?
