With a mammoth 21 million visitors each year, UAE emerged as one of the biggest tourist destinations in the world and with the latest announcement, the country's head intended to prepare UAE for the next 50 years and to make it a major global tourism destination.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE announced that UAE will be issuing 5-year visas with multiple visits to all nationalities who wish to visit UAE.

He said that the year 2020 is different as they started planning to make UAE the best tourist destination and in a move to support the tourism economy of the country, the new tourist visa is made valid for 5 years. After reviewing the previous year's achievements, they approved the new tourist visa.
