US Elections 2020: Telugu Recognized As One Of The Official Languages, Appears On All Ballot Papers

As the Donald Trump government in the United States of America recognised the Telugu language as the official language for communication in the United States, it was a very proud moment for all Telugu people around the world. With the latest development, there is a cause for the Telugu people around the world to rejoice. In detail, the US presidential election is scheduled for November 3, in which the ballot paper will be written in various languages.

In this context, the Telugu language, including some of the Indian languages, is also included in the list of official languages included in the ballot paper. Thus, both in Telugu and hereafter, the election process and all the official activities taking place in America shall be explained. There is currently an estimated 15 crore population around the globe speaking Telugu, including 9 crores from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. There are 8.2 crore Telugu speakers in India, depending on the 2011 census. Over the past 9 years, this amount has risen tremendously. The number of Telugu speaking people in America is rising exponentially, so Telugu has been recognised as an official language by the US government.
