In yet another horrendous incident, a 24-year-old woman lecturer was burnt alive by her stalker, as she refused to accept his love proposal, in Wardha In Maharashtra. Her condition is critical and a large number of people have been protesting with the demand for capital punishment for the accused.

The victim suffered 40 percent burns and her respiration tract is severely damaged, while her lungs too suffered damage due to toxic flames from the inside. She is being treated at Orange city Hospital at Nagpur.

While her condition is better than yesterday, she still is in critical condition. Now the doctors are worried about the possible infections that could worsen the condition.

The case is put on a fast track and the treatment expenses of the victim will be provided from the CM relief fund. The accused Vicky Nagrale was sent to police custody till Saturday. The accused appears not being repentant of his inhumane act. Nagrale and the victim were co-students till 12th standard, while she completed her graduation and chose to teach, he was unemployed.

The accused was reportedly married with a seven-month-old son and he used to stalk the victim for many months.
