More than a general election in a volatile constituency or a Panchayat Raj election in a village, Movie Artists Association (MAA) elections are getting a high octane boost every year, thanks to the various politics doing rounds here. As Tollywood is likely to go for a vote again, without electing a unanimous choice, here goes some interesting updates.    

While outgoing MAA president Sivaji Raja claims that he can't give up on his post as he feels that the development and welfare works he has undertaken needs him to be in the post for at least another couple of years, vice-president Naresh is saying that he was promised a term this year, and now being denied. As both are sounding logically correct, there is no other thing to do than going to an election. 

Surprisingly Naresh and his panel including Jeevitha and Rajsekhar have today met Megastar Chiranjeevi, seeking his blessings. And then, Sivaji Raja and his team also met the Boss to take his blessings. We have to see if Megastar and 'mega group' will give any indication to fellow actors to vote for any of these two.
