Jana Sena Party and its chief Pawan Kalyan have taken a strange decision on the Telangana municipal elections. Under unusual circumstances, the party is not contesting the polls and also asked interested party leaders and supporters to contest as independents.

A press statement was released by Jana Sena which stated that there are some unspecific reasons for party which is why it is not contesting on 'Glass' symbol but the party chief has permitted interested people to contest as independent candidates.

This means apart from moral support, Telangana Jana Sena leaders will not get any sort of assistance from Jana Sena and Pawan Kalyan.

It is still unclear why Pawan Kalyan is not showing interest on Telangana politics. May be because of the capital row, Pawan wants to focus only on the affairs of Andhra.
