Its Official- AP Assembly Approves Three Capitals

The Andhra Pradesh Assembly has approved 'Three Capitals' proposal and a bill regarding the same was introduced in the house by Finance minister Buggana Rajendranath Reddy. The bill was introduced in the name of 'Development Decentralisation.'

As per the bill, Amaravati will act as Legislative capital while Vizag will be Executive capital and Kurnool will be judicial capital of the state. The Raj Bhavan, secretariat, all the head of departments will now move to Vizag.

On the decentralization, the minister in the assembly said that the state will be divided into local zones and through this, the development will take place.
