The charisma of Paritala family is visible in two Telugu states and after the demise of Paritala Ravi, his wife Paritala Sunitha is continuing his legacy & serving the state as Andhra Pradesh minister. There's a visible difference between Sunitha and rest of the ministers - she still continues to do agriculture and never carries any political baggage with her - in fact, she likes being simple and maintains good rapport with supporters, fellow ministers and cadre.
The minister for women empowerment and children welfare recently took part in construction works of Perur dam at Ramagiri Mandal in Ananthapur district. Since Perur dam was a dream project of Paritala Ravi, Sunitha thanked CM Babu earlier this year for his green signal to this project. CM Naidu is expected to visit the Ramagiri mandal soon to lay foundation stone for Perur dam. Since this project is going to fulfill his husband's dream, the minister actively took part in piling works as a 'coolie'. Sunitha and her son Sri Ram visited the dam area and celebrated it with the workers there.
The Minister, by putting aside her status and background, turning into a coolie has attracted and invited everyone's attention The state government has made a hefty allocation towards this project as part of making Rayalaseema an 'horticulture club'.
