It looks like popular comedian and YSRCP leader Prudhvi is in serious trouble. The '30 Years Industry' actor submits his resignation for his SVBC Chairman post. And the reason is his scandalous obscene telephonic conversation with an unidentified part-time woman SVBC employee that went viral following a sting operation by a news channel.
Bowing to the intense protests by the SVBC employees who demanded Prudhvi's resignation, the TTD has already begun a vigilance enquiry against the senior actor. If the probe report finds fault with Prudhvi, he may well be shown the door after consulting with AP CM YS Jagan. Meanwhile, Prudhvi reportedly told the TTD Chairman that a conspiracy has been hatched against him by a particular community and also claimed his innocence in the entire episode.
Already, Jagan is said to be serious on Prudhvi for his distasteful comments on the protesting Amaravati farmers and their caste. The party's high command reportedly reprimanded Prudhvi and warned him against making such comments which may bring bad reputation to the party. The high command opines that the party may be in trouble from the opposition leaders and common people if necessary action is not taken against Prudhvi.
On the other hand, allegations against Prudhvi's corruption are in full swing. SVBC employees are alleging that Prudhvi used to drink alcohol in the Padmavathi guest house in the temple premises. Prudhvi was earlier accused of favouring his people while allotting jobs in SVBC. After a preliminary enquiry, the TTD had ousted the employees who got jobs with Prudhvi's help.
