Vijay Sai Reddys Son-in-Law Behind Boston Group

AP capital crisis is looming large with the farmers of Amaravati, who had voluntarily offered 33000 acres land to previous government, took to streets with their families and protesting the new government's proposed plan to shift the capital to Vizag. In this backdrop, both the ruling party and opposition parties are crossing swords with one another and indulging in the war of words over the dilemma on the capital and its possible relocation.

Meanwhile, AP government has roped in the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) to study the Capital City options and told to come up with its findings in addition to the report of GN Rao-led expert committee. Telugu Desam Party leaders are quick to take pot shots at the government and leveled serious allegations against Boston Consulting Group.

TDP senior leader and politburo member Varla Ramaiah alleged that YCP general secretary and Rajya Sabha MP Vijay Sai Reddy's own son-in-law is behind Boston Consulting Group. Varla Ramaiah alleged that Vijay Sai Reddy's son-in-law Rohit Reddy is close to Boston Consulting Group Director Bhattacharya. Rohit Reddy is the promoter of Arabindo Pharma company. Varla Ramaiah alleged that Rohit Reddy owned Arabindo Pharma company owns thousands of acres lands between Vizag and Vijayanagaram and Boston Consulting Group's report would be in favour of Rohit Reddy. Varla Ramaiah alleged that this is the purpose behind bringing Boston Consulting Group into the picture. Varla Ramaiah demanded the state government to immediately explain the reason behind roping in BSG and handing over the key subject that would affect 5 crore population of the state.

This is not all. Varla Ramaiah went onto attack the Boston Consulting Group and alleged that the firm's track record is not good. Ramaiah alleged that Portuguese police had in the past conducted raids on Boston Consulting Group in 2017. Varla Ramaiah alleged that the FBI is having a thorough scrutiny and has an eye over the operations of the Boston Consulting Group.

Varla Ramaiah further demanded that AP state government should reveal the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Boston Consulting Group and the GO pertaining to it. He demanded that how CM Jagan got to know about the BSG and what are the things they have discussed. He also demanded the state government to reveal the fee of the Boston Consulting Group for its service of 'Advising Agency'. He also said BSG doesn't have such previous experience, expertise in Capital related affairs and questioned on what basis BSG has been roped in by the AP state government.

TDP leader's questions have become hot topic in AP politics as the name of Vijay Sai Reddy and his son-in-law Rohit Reddy's names have been dragged into the topic of possible relocation of AP capital.
