Spanish tennis player and the world's no.2 ranked Rafael Nadal married his long-time girlfriend of 14 years, Xisca Perello. The wedding took place lavishly at a castle in Mallorca on Saturday.

Known for his remarkable tennis career, Nadal won the grand slam champion for a whopping 19 times. Today, he tied the knot with 31-year-old Xisca Perello at La Fortaleza and nearly 350 guests were invited to the plush ceremony. It is reported that even the former king of Spain Juan Carlos-I has come to attend the wedding.

The love story of Nadal is a romantic tale as he met Perello through his younger sister Maribel, who is also a childhood friend of Perello. With a huge fanbase, Nadal has been receiving innumerable congratulatory wishes on social media. Coming to his Tennis status at the moment, Nadal has withdrew from Laver Cup and Shangai due to his wrist injury.

This is the second consecutive year that the 19-time Grand Slam champion failed to appear in Shanghai. "As you all probably know, I had an inflammation on my left wrist during the Laver Cup and I haven't had the time to recover and practice to be ready for this amazing event," Nadal stated.
