We Get Only 15 Minutes Of Time Says Naidu

As the No-Confidence Motion moved by the TDP MP Kesineni Nani is coming for discussion in the Lok Sabha tomorrow along with the No-Confidence Motion moved by other opposition parties including Congress, the Speaker said to have allocated the stipulated time-frame for each political party to speak in the house. As per it, TDP is likely to get only 13 minutes to speak in the Lok Sabha to read out their concerns, complaints, issues and the gross injustice meted out to the state by the Centre.

Whilst this is very less, TDP is now chalking out a plan and is preparing a spectacular speech highlighting AP's concerns to optimally utilize the 13-minutes of the allotted time in the Lower House.

TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu has been interacting with the MPs over the phone, teleconference and is guiding them that this is a Golden opportunity to fight for the State and to become Hero among people. "This is a historic opportunity, an inspirational occasion. You should echo the voice of five crore people of Andhra Pradesh in Lok Sabha as this is a prestige issue," Chandrababu told his MPs during a teleconference.

Galla Jayadev To Speak First

Though Vijayawada MP Kesineni Srinivas had moved the motion in Lok Sabha yesterday, Naidu has chosen Guntur lawmaker Jayadev Galla to kick off the debate tomorrow.

The TDP also wants two more of its MPs to be given an opportunity to speak on the motion.

"We will get only 15 minutes to speak on the motion but you seek more time. Ensure that nobody (other opposition parties in the House) is against us. Either they should support us or stay neutral," Naidu instructed the MPs.

However, apart from raising the main demand of granting Special Category Status to Andhra Pradesh, opposition parties have asked the TDP to dwell on issues like lynching and communal violence to present a united face while attacking the government during the discussion. This is in order to showcase that Opposition is united against the BJP-led NDA.

Meanwhile, TDP has issued a whip directing all its MPs to attend Parliament on Friday and Monday.
